KPU Office Renovation in Salemba Reaches 95 Percent

The renovation of Dept. of Education building at Jalan Salemba Raya, Senen, reaches 95 percent. The building will be used as Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) office. It is targeted to complete by the end of this month.

Before August 3, all activity must finish completely

Assistant of Governmental for Regional Secretary, Bambang Sugiono, said the renovation is targeted to complete by the end of this month. On August 3, the commission will open the Jakarta Governor candidate registration.

“Before August 3, all activity must finish completely,” he said, Thursday (7/28).

KPU Is Professional, Basuki Says

Based on meeting result, the furniture, painting, wallpaper installation, and computer must ready on Monday (8/1).

Commission head, Sumarno, appreciates the support from Jakarta Provincial Government.

“We appreciate the effort runs by Jakarta Provincial Government at province and city level,” he stated.
